We are currently working on getting donations to purchase our divers new gear that fits their own person. Certain things like wetsuits and such are much easier to use if they are ordered for that individual's size and measurements for example. We will be using money from the Volunteer Tax but can also accept donations. We would also like to say thanks in acknowledgment to those who have donated so far.
Welcome to the website of the Faulkner County Rescue Squad. We are a non-profit organization helping the citizens throughout Faulkner County, Arkansas in times of need as well as providing mutual aid to neighboring counties. We thank you for your interest and invite you to view all the pages of this site to learn who we are and what we do.
The Faulkner County Rescue Squad is made up of men and women who volunteer their time and skills to help all of Faulkner County. The Rescue Squad personnel are paramedics, EMTs, first responders, and RNs, as well as others who just wish to volunteer their time to help give back to their community, who have all added to their training to become certified in Swift Water Rescue, Dive Rescue, and Law Enforcement to mention a few. Many of our squad members are also volunteer firefighters. Most are CPR and NIMS certified and each has their own special training in different areas.
We make it our goal to continue training to help out where and when we are needed.
There are 2 equipment stations in the county (one in Conway by Central Fire Station and the other at the OEM office on Acklin Gap Road).
The squad also does standby at community and sporting events. If you are interested in joining please contact a member or come to a meet the first Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. at the OEM location. Sometimes they are moved to Central Fire Station in Conway.
